We are all walking at our pace

We are all walking at our pace.
So some days ago I was walking with two kids, I am a lover of kids by the way.
I was at the middle, the older kid was at my left and the younger kid was at my right.
The older kid was dragging me to walk faster neglecting and forgetting the younger baby at my right. As she was pulling me to walk at her pace, I noticed something, the younger kid was unable to meet up to her pace. I saw her struggling to walker faster than she can. The more she tried, the more frustrated she became. When she couldn't keep up to our speed, she just dislodged our hands so as to walk at her own speed.
It became obvious that the speed at which I operate is different from the speed at which the other operates on.
Assuming I was to walk at my speed, the older kid would have issues meeting up to me.
So my wonderful readers, most times you sit and watch your colleagues who are way much better that you. Most of those you finished the compulsory service with are comfortably working whereas there are still those you left school with that are yet to clear their results.
You are wondering when you'd get a better job, whereas some are praying for
Just a day meal.
I am wondering when my business will grow bigger, some of my colleagues are looking for money to learn a skill.
Each time you compare yourself, you push yourself to frustration..depression..inferiority complex.
I'm not saying you shouldn't have goals and pursue them. Nooooo!!! I am saying, don't pursue your goal because you want to meet up with someone more successful.
Maybe your destined to be better than the person you're comparing yourself to.
Be you. Do you. Don't compare you. Walk at your pace.
